Been a nice long while since I posted anything, so I figured I would jot something down before bed tonight since I ran out of other things to do, heh.

Final Fantasy: Crisis Core is FINALLY coming out this week! Been waiting for this title for a long time, so I am real excited about it. I got Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for the DS to tide me over, but so far I am less than impressed with it. Not only is it a short game, but it feels like they spent too much time in presentation and not enough time with actual fun gameplay. Still, it is nice for a DS game. I guess the bar was raised for me for handheld gaming after playing God Of War on the PSP.

Jeanne and I went over to my mom's house for Easter things today. We watched the kids do an easter egg hunt, then we had pizza and watched an old Rankin/Bass easter bunny show.

Work has been ok, I guess. Had a couple of busy spots where it is obvious that the boss needs to hire some help to check the package work that is coming through. I don't think it has dawned on him that he cannot get more work without getting more help. There is only so far you can stretch your current staff.

I am taking two classes this session. I am so close to being done completely, just one or two more after this. I think I am actually supposed to walk in May, but not sure, I suppose I need to get all that figured out, huh?

Anyways, don't know what else to say right now, so I guess this is a good stopping point.

Which is it, girl?! :)

PS: Get well soon!

Watched "Hot Fuzz" yesterday...OMG, what an awesome movie. I expected it to be entertaining, sure, but it was simply brilliant. I hope those guys continue doing films. I liked it more than Shaun of the Dead to be honest :)

So.. I was reading Kotaku.com this morning and there was an article up there about resident evil 5. This game was just announced recently and there is nothing more than a trailer out, but it has already had a complaint. You see, this time Chris goes to Africa for some reason and is attacked by zombies. These zombies happen to be black. The african-american community is outrages because this game will teach little white kids to kill black people. WTF? I heard no complaints when RE1-3 was out about killing hordes of white people, or RE4 when you killed hordes of spaniards. Let's look at this.

1- The are ZOMBIES. Fucking zombies. I think they quit people people when the died and became the living dead and started eating people. Black, white, yellow, green, whatever, they are ZOMBIES.

2- This game is rated M for mature, so if a kid gets it, blame the zombie hating parents for training thier young children for killing ZOMBIES.

If anyone should put up a blog complaining about this franchise it's the zombie community. Wow, they got a bad situation on thier hands.

I would post the link to the blog, but I refuse to fuel this any further.

Meh
Jeanne and I watched Ghost Rider and Monster House last night. I was surprised by Ghost Rider, we both thought it would be extremely bad, but it was really enjoyable. Monster House was cute, but not all that and a side of fries. I thought the animation was awesome tho. The characters had much more moevement than the average computer animated project does.

Wii went in for her declawing and fixing this morning. I know the vet does it all the time and are good at it, but I am still worried =/

What the hell? It's friggin' freezing outside. The weather seriously needs to make up it's mind. Warm one day, cold as hell the next, insane tells ya! So I am lying in bed all bundled up with my laptop, while watching Law And Order and buggin' Jeanne while she is doing her homework..good times. I quickly found out that poetry just isn't my thing. Sure, I can follow forms, keep meter and rhyme, but I lack the actual ability to articulate myself. I can visualize what I want to say, but that is about the extent of it. Maybe I will post a couple one day and you can see what I mean, yuck!

The podcasting is going well I think. We have a nice listener-ship and getting some good feedback. I honestly never thought we would have 30+ shows under our belt by now, but we do, and I think it sounds good. For those of you that don't know, Laura and I do a weekly podcast about Rocky Horror. Of course, like Rocky Horror, the subject takes wide turns and we talk about other things...hilarity ensues. So if you haven't heard it yet, check it out and et me know what ya think.

School is going ok. Creative Writing matched with a Bacterial Diseases class sure makes for an interesting session, lol. I am going to take the summer session off to relax, Only have a couple of classes left, but the financial aid won't cover the summer session, and I gots to pay the rent, yo!

We have a co-worker in the hospitol right now. No idea what's going on though. She called and left a message for me to call her, but her phone was prolly bought at Big Lots or something, cause it is ringing as busy all the time. I hope she is ok, but she has been there since Wednesday or Thursday.

I know there is something else I wanna type but can't remember what...but boy, would I like some ice cream right about now. Baskin Robbins needs to deliver!

Lesse,

The new podcast is up, so go grab it :)

Also, great news for Final Fantasy people. FF1, FF2, FF7 Crisis Core, and my favorite, Final Fantasy Tactics are all getting treatment for the PSP! Each one is going to be updated and new content added! (Well, Crisis Core is 100% new) and there is also an unannounced FF game in the works too, rumor has it that it's a FF13 spin-off, so who knows. I am excited!

Jeanne got me Puzzlequest for my PSP over the weekend..OMG, the most addicting game, ever. Prolly the only thing that could make me stop playing Valkyrie Profile, lol. Well, at least until Pokemon comes out in three weeks :)

I haven't posted anything in a long time, so I thought I would scribble a few things down since I am here all by my onesies at work this morning.
Things are going great at the new apartment. I miss my family and all that jazz, but I must admit the quiet is awesome. I don't miss the yelling of kids or the yapping of dogs every five seconds, and really enjoy being able to sleep past 7am on a Saturday. Jeanne, Rod, and I all get along very well, so it is making for a wonderful time. I never had any reservations about the move as far as my roomates are concerned, and I was right about it. I love it when something works out.

I am in to the last week of classes for this session. While I am confident I will do well in my Asian Lit. class, my Astronomy class is concerning me. The last entire week of classes have been cancelled, and we have a project due, but no time to discuss it or complete it. I wonder how all that is going to be handled. Guess I'll find all that out tonight.

Jeanne and I went to see Bridge to Terebithia yesterday. I am still not entirely sure whether I liked the film or not. Not going to comment on it right now, gonna let it sink in a bit more, heh.

Classes started for me last night. I got the Monday/Wednesday schedule again. I am taking Astronomy and Asian American literature. Both courses are reading heavy, but neither look terribly hard. Only problem is I have to try to remember to actually read the stuff, as I tend to forget a lot, lol. The next session I am takin Bacterial diseases and Creative Writing. The writing class is taught by the same woman instructing the asian-american class.

Work is slow as ever. We are being sent home early a lot, and that is teh suck. Prolly time for me to just get another job.

Burning Crusade comes out next week. I am excited in one respect, but disappointed in the other in that I won't have a lot of time to really play it. Ah well.

Pan's Labrynth opens this weekend (I'm pretty sure), so Jeanne and I are gonna go see it. We've been looking forward to this one for a while.

The new house is good. Have a lot more unpacked and off the floor, but still have some left. The cat is settling in quite nicely too. Rod and Jeanne are awesome roomates.

I said I would post this again, so here it goes. This is a copy of my original rant about Granpa Joe..I hate this guy..

I figured I would chat a little bit about the man we all grew up with, the man who went with Charlie on the voayge for the lifetime supply of chocolate, the man who has been the grampa so many kids want...the evilness that is Grampa Joe.
See, few people realize this, but Joe is nothing more than a good for nothing ass. Let's take an indepth look into this. First, the entire family is poor, dirt poor. The father is nowhere to be found, the mother works her nubs to the nubs, poor charlie has school and his paper route, and they STILL don't have money for anything...no clothes, food, coal for heat, nothing. And what do the old folks do, just lie there and do nothing. Sure, they may have some disabilitating illness, but Joe takes it one step further to make him evil. He uses some of scarce money to buy tobacco! Geez! nevermind that Charlie is not getting fed, and they need everything, as long as Joe has his camels it's all good. And he won't even get his lazy ass out of bed to help with the household by getting a job or even cleaning out his own friggin bedpan! Now one day Charlie brings home the golden ticket and Joe magically leaps out of bed. Why couldn't he do this a long time ago when the entire family needed him? Is the thrill of seeing a friggin oompa loompa that much more importnt to him? But let's look at it another way..after so many years of lying in bed, one would have to be re-taught how to walk practically, yet this guy was doing cartwheels. My guess on that is he has been sneaking out at night doing gawd knows what, then coming back home in time for his cabbage dinner which he didn't help obtain...
but let's move on. When Joe and Charlie get to the factory, Joe constantly makes fun of all the other kids. What kind of friggin role model is that? At one point Joe even talks Charlie into stealing fizzy lifting drinks!!! Shame on you, Joe! Then at the end of the tour Joe says he wants to sell secrets to Wonka's competitor. This here shows Joe values revenge. what the hell is wrong with this man?

Was watching Pee-Wee's Playhouse last night and realized how the exsistance of Brokeback Mountain makes Cowboy Curtis the funniest guy on the show. Last night Cowboy Curtis (for the rest of this this post will be referred to as CC) took Pee-Wee on an overnight trip to the moutains for a good ole' fashioned sleepover. Here are exerpts from the night.

PW: Hey CC, how's your wiener?
CC: OOO Wee! It's good
CC: How's YOUR Wierner...
PW: Hmmmm, tasty!

Then they talk about buns...was a funny, funny thing.

Will make a real update later when I wake up more and can compose a thought.

Starting like last wednesday I have been feeling like total shit. We did the podcast and besides me sounding like I am Elmer Fudd, it went very well. Laura got it posted, so it's up for your listening pleasure. So here it is Sunday afternoon and I still feel like crap and I even got meds, gah!

Let's see what went on lately. I took my DS into Gamestop and got a pink one in it's place. Mine was developing pressure cracks, and I wanted one of the colored ones anyways. The pink one is actually really pink, and not the washed out pink I thought it was when I first looked at it from a distance. Saturday we went to Lenox mall to goof around. We went to the Apple store for a little research, then to Gamestop. I got another copy of Final Fantasy Tactics for the GBA. I got rid of mine last time cause I spent so much time on it, it was insane. But for 15 bucks I couldn't resist it. So between that and trying to open up the couple of secrets I have in 3-on-3 Hoops for the DS, I should be fine in the portable market until FF3 comes out. It's wierd, but I am looking forward to FF3 more than FF12 :)

Jeanne got excited that the new Artemis Fowl book was out, so we snatched that up for her. With the borders rewards card you get hardback books really cheap! So yay for that.

Saw Scary Movie 4 last night..yeah, it wasn't that good. Part 3 was much funnier.

A new Pokemon game comes out Tuesday, but I think I am gonna wait on some reviews before I get it. It is a different approach to the series and one that could tank easily..so in the meantime Nicole needs to hurry up with Dirge of Cerebus so I can take it for a spin.
